The Exis

The axis (exis) is where the weirdo’s meet the out of the box thinkers, the artist freaks and the music lovers, even the under dog music which is said to be under ground, the axis is where the black and white collide and from the grey area.

I deliberately chose this name because I felt that it explained who this blog was for which is basically everyone that shares the same interest and likes as me… but more importantly I choose this name because I felt that it allowed room for imagination and exploration.

The axis can be considered where everything meets, and Kwai-Core is where these two different but also similar genres meet in the Axis, I wanted my blog to allow room for anything, anything that had coloration to Kwai-Core music of course.
It is also amazing that you can start off with this little idea that may not be realistic but feasible, and then venture out to a whole lot of series of ideas that you constantly learn from and find out new interesting things that keep you excited and on your feet…the highlight is delivering them in any tone or style to people who will view you blog.

WE LIVE AND WE LEARN GREY PATCHES EVERYDAY.

Spoek lyrics

Hellow Greyies...

So i have stumbled across some songs of Spoek, and i have chosen this one to use for my blog. I have copied and pasted the exact words as they are from the song onto my blog.

“SPOKE IN THE WHEEL”

Lord, I question whether I've had my fill
Lord, I question whether I can take much more
Well, you may laugh
As I lay here bleeding baby
Mhmmmmm yeah
No more afters or befores

Some day you'll know just how it feels
You left me there twice before
Some day you'll know just how it feels
Shattered, cast aside
Stripped of your pride
Like you were never nothing special
Made to feel
Like another spoke in the wheel

So you say I'm just another dollar
So you say I'm just another day
Well, once my blood was strong
But now it's jaded and it's thin
Unlike you
I can still tell right from wrong

Some day you'll know just how it feels
You left me there twice before
Some day you'll know just how it feels
Shattered, cast aside
Stripped of your pride
Like you were never nothing special
Made to feel
Like another spoke in the wheel

My Expression...

The beats that speak to my soul that brings joy to my heart, the vocal that express what I can feel but yet cannot grasp enough words to explain, yet this unknown artist, that can not know what I’m going through, what I’ve been through better yet expresses it more then I can, the person experiencing this pain.

This song speaks to me in an unknown language that between us, it revives me gives me courage, it shelters me holds me and gives me…it is not only I that goes’ through this pain, this pain is cold and wants you to give up on what is out there for you make sure you stop it, before it stops you.

There are many of us out there; you just do not know it! We are to listen, to share, to express, to experience we are here to make you smile, escape your world of fear enter our world where you do not have to speak because we speak for you in behalf of you.

Ears open, the world of beats awaits you, the world of spiritual upliftment and happiness revivment, where all words are of existent because what better way to express the feelings that are unknown but by words that are created by you because of the feeling you feel.

Some underGround poetry....

In the name of profits,
industry-buffs
utilize
control-methods
to change the universe,
the natural flow
of the
instrument-artists.
Pure vibrations
pressed
into altered states
creates
intergalactic messes,
even the sunspots wane.
Without the core,
the meltdown begins,
spreading
radioactive-musical-wastes
globally.
A universal disease
infecting the population
with
shit-sounds.
How profound,
the death of music
to make pocket money.
Something's gotta change
before
it's too late
and
sacred
vibration dies

Spoek is a new South African artist who is transforming the idea of African culture and the western perception of it. He is a culture shock artist, who utilizes the darkness and beauty of Africa to highlight his music. Not to mention, his sound is electronic, grimy and futuristic.
Mathambo stands aside the underrated Kenna, as well as the politically conscious M.I.A., with socio-political underlying messages to his music. He has been classified as “Afro-futurism“, defined as “an emergent literary and cultural aesthetic that combines elements of science fiction, historical fiction, fantasy, Afrocentricity, and magic realism with non-Western cosmologies in order to critique not only the present-day dilemmas of people of color, but also to revise, interrogate, and re-examine the historical events of the past” (wikipedia). Mathambo’s work presents all of these elements. With depictions of African neighborhoods, traditional fashion and jewelry, and chilling jump shots of oppressing clips and disturbing shots, he infuses his view of his culture in a way that most people do not acknowledge or understand.
